David E. Christensen

David E. Christensen is the founding partner and a trial attorney at Christensen Law, where he represents people after serious injuries. He focuses on personal injury, auto accidents, and traumatic brain injury cases, providing direct communication, careful preparation, and strong courtroom advocacy to protect clients and pursue meaningful results.

David earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from San Francisco State University. He later obtained a Master of Arts in Chinese Studies and a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, building a strong academic foundation for complex litigation and trial focused practice.

After beginning his career handling corporate legal matters, David transitioned into personal injury law. He worked at a large firm for nearly two decades, gaining trial experience while recognizing the need for closer client relationships, consistent communication, and individualized service in demanding, emotionally difficult injury cases nationwide.

David has received numerous professional honors recognizing trial skill and ethics. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, was named Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year for 2019 and 2025, inducted into the Michigan Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame, and selected for the American Board of Trial Advocates.

David also contributes to the legal profession through leadership and advocacy. He served as chairman of the State Bar of Michigan’s Negligence Law Section, held leadership roles with the Michigan Association for Justice, testified before the Michigan legislature, and speaks nationally on negligence and auto accident law issues.
