Bo Schimers

Bo Schimers is the founder of the Law Offices of Bo Schimers & Associates, a respected law firm serving the Michigan area. With more than two decades of legal experience, he provides strong representation in family law, divorce, personal injury, criminal defense, and Michigan driver’s license restoration matters. Mr. Schimers completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University, earning a B.B.A. in 1977. He later attended the Detroit College of Law, where he obtained his J.D. in 1988. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1989 and to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in 1991. His academic background and formal legal training provide a strong foundation for handling complex legal matters in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Schimers gained early experience at a major downtown Detroit personal injury firm after beginning his legal career in 1988. He later established his own law practice, allowing him to serve individuals and families directly with practical, efficient, and cost-effective legal solutions. He regularly appears in district courts, the Wayne County Circuit Court, and has practiced before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Federal District Court.

Mr. Schimers has helped thousands of clients navigate difficult legal challenges throughout his career. He is especially well known for success in driver’s license restoration cases, helping individuals regain driving privileges through detailed preparation and skilled advocacy.
