Darrick X. Banda is a Maine criminal defense attorney with a statewide practice focused exclusively on criminal law. Darrick began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney for the State of Maine. As a prosecutor, he handled numerous bench and jury trials and served as a supervising prosecuting attorney in central Maine. He advised law enforcement agencies, taught legal training courses, and authored appellate briefs before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. He also completed advanced trial advocacy training at the National Advocacy Center.
Since entering private practice in 2008, Darrick X. Banda has focused on defending individuals in both state and federal courts. He has co chaired high profile homicide and serious felony cases and frequently speaks on criminal law topics.
