Daniel J. Berkowitz is an Associate Attorney in the Bousquet Holstein PLLC, where he handles commercial, business, and real estate litigation. He also earned his B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University. These academic achievements reflect his commitment to understanding the law and applying it with precision.

Daniel served as a public interest attorney. In this role, he helped advance safe housing conditions by filing some of the first RPAPL Article 7-D petitions in New York before entering private practice. These petitions sought court orders requiring landlords to make necessary repairs to buildings with unsafe conditions. His work supported the goals of the Tenant Dignity and Safe Housing Act and helped tenants seek safer living environments through the legal system. Daniel also brings experience in policy, communication, and advocacy.
