Daniel G. Brown

Daniel G. Brown is a partner at Gazak Brown, P.S.C. in Louisville, Kentucky. He has spent more than 25 years in practice, with a strong focus on litigation and appellate work. His practice includes professional malpractice, insurance defense, bad faith insurance defense, legal malpractice, and related disputes.

Daniel earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1995. He earned his B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Murray State University in 1989. His legal education included service on the University of Kentucky Law Review from 1993 to 1995.

Daniel has been admitted to practice in Kentucky since 1995. He was admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky in 1997 and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 1999. These admissions support his trial and appellate practice.

Daniel devotes 100% of his practice to litigation and appellate work. He has tried cases in state and federal courts and argued before the Kentucky Court of Appeals, Kentucky Supreme Court, and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also assists clients before the Kentucky medical and nursing licensing boards.

Daniel’s work covers medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, legal malpractice, insurance coverage issues, personal injury, wrongful death, and commercial and business torts. He helps clients by investigating claims, managing discovery, questioning witnesses, preparing trials, drafting appellate briefs, and presenting oral arguments before trial and appellate courts.
