About

Chip Muller is the founder of Muller Law, LLC, where he represents employers and employees in employment law, litigation, and business dispute matters. His practice combines courtroom experience with practical counsel, helping clients address workplace challenges, contract disputes, and other matters that require careful strategy, strong advocacy, and clear communication from start to finish.

Muller earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he served as Articles and Notes Editor for the First Amendment Law Review and competed on the Broun National Trial Team. His academic background also includes a Master’s degree from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College. His legal practice covers employment law risk, workers’ rights, workplace disputes, business litigation, arbitration, mediation, and trial advocacy. He advises employers on compliance and represents employees in serious workplace disputes.

Before founding Muller Law, LLC, Muller practiced at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder, LLP, a respected New England firm, where he handled litigation and employment matters for Fortune 500 companies and local businesses. That experience strengthened his ability to manage complex disputes, evaluate risk, and build effective strategies for diverse clients. He has conducted more than ten jury trials to verdict and has represented clients in arbitrations and numerous mediations. He has also handled notable employment and business dispute matters in federal courts, including cases involving motions to dismiss, arbitration issues, and summary judgment disputes for clients in litigation settings.

Chip Muller is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, in the federal courts in those states, and before the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He has chaired the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Employment Law Committee and regularly teaches lawyers about employment risk reduction, discovery, and litigation techniques. Through his work, he helps businesses reduce legal exposure and supports workers seeking fair treatment under employment laws. His approach emphasizes preparation, advocacy, and practical guidance, enabling clients to better understand their options, protect their interests, and move forward with confidence through difficult workplace or commercial disputes.
