Dana N. Zachry is a trusted legal advocate in elder law, providing guidance on estate planning, probate, guardianship, and Medicaid planning. She focuses her practice on helping individuals and families prepare for aging and long-term care needs. Her work emphasizes protection, dignity, and thoughtful planning for every stage of life.
Dana began her academic journey at Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2008. She then pursued her legal education at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor in 2011. That same year, she was admitted to the State Bar of Texas, marking the beginning of her legal career.
Throughout her career, Dana has contributed significantly to the legal field through her leadership and involvement. She has served as President of the Texas A&M University School of Law Alumni Organization and sits on the boards of the Tarrant County Probate Bar Association and Guardianship Services, Inc. Dana is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Dana’s excellence in elder law has earned her numerous honors, including being named a Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers from 2019 to 2021, an award given to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state. She was also recognized as a Top Attorney by Fort Worth, Texas magazine and 360 West magazine. Dana was selected for the State Bar of Texas Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section Leadership Academy in 2018–2019.
Beyond her client work, Dana N. Zachry frequently shares her knowledge as a speaker on elder law topics. She has presented at events hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association, Lockheed Martin, UT Arlington, and more.
