Dan Monnat

Dan Monnat, co-founder of Monnat & Spurrier, Chartered, has built a national reputation as a leading criminal defense attorney over his 45-year career. Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts in English, cum laude, from California State University, San Francisco, in 1973, and subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor from Creighton University in 1976. He later refined his trial skills at the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College and advanced graduate programs, further developing his distinctive courtroom style. He is licensed in Kansas and Nebraska, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and multiple federal courts.
