He continued his education at the University of Tulsa College of Law in Oklahoma, where he received his Juris Doctor with Highest Honors. While in law school, he contributed to the Energy Law Journal and earned a Sustainable Energy and Resources Law Certificate.
Before entering private practice, Dakota served as an Assistant District Attorney in Tulsa County, Oklahoma. In that role, he prosecuted felony and misdemeanor cases and handled motion hearings, preliminary hearings, and trials. His work laid a solid foundation for a career that now includes both civil litigation and complex real property matters.
Dakota has successfully represented clients in oil and gas title reviews, condemnation cases, and disputes involving Quiet Title and Trespass to Try Title actions. He also provides services in contract drafting and review, partitions, and general business transactions. His broad skill set ensures that clients receive practical, results-driven legal counsel tailored to their specific needs.
