About

Crucita Flecha, Esq. is a dedicated legal professional with a strong focus on immigration law and small business legal needs. She has built her legal career on providing accessible and culturally sensitive legal counsel to underserved communities. Her approach reflects a deep commitment to helping immigrants and entrepreneurs navigate legal systems with clarity and confidence.

Crucita earned her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School, following her undergraduate studies. Since becoming a licensed attorney in 1995, she has held various roles, including Staff Attorney for the Honorable John P. Bessey and Assistant Attorney General for the Honorable Betty Montgomery. Her background includes significant work in family, business, and tax law.

Raised in Lorain, Ohio in a bilingual Puerto Rican household, Crucita experienced firsthand how hard it can be for Spanish-speaking families to access quality legal help. Today, she leverages her voice, cultural background, and legal skills to advocate for clients who are too often overlooked by the legal system. Her lived experience fuels her commitment to legal equity, making sure every client—regardless of language or background—has a fair chance.

Crucita began her legal practice to fill the gap in legal services for Spanish-speaking clients. She continues to focus on immigration matters while also offering support in business structure, counseling, and transactional legal services. Her prior experience includes working as a partner at a firm handling similar practice areas, helping lay the groundwork for her current legal focus.

Beyond her practice, Crucita Flecha supports several nonprofits that empower women, young girls, and the Spanish-speaking community. She is the current President of Femergy and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Her work bridges the legal and nonprofit sectors, reflecting her passion for community growth and justice. Crucita remains active in legal and civic circles as a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, continuing her service to clients and communities with purpose and care.
