Colleen Condon, a dedicated attorney and distinguished advocate for family and civil rights, brings extensive experience and deep personal insight into the legal challenges of family dynamics.
Colleen graduated from Bishop England High School and earned a degree from the College of Charleston. They then spent seven years at Blackbaud, a local software company, before pursuing a law degree at the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill, graduating in 2002. Colleen was admitted to the South Carolina Bar that same year.
Residing in West Ashley with their wife Nichols and frequently visiting Park Circle, Colleen deeply rooted their legal practice and community life within the Charleston area. Their legal expertise is focused on Family Court matters across Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley Counties. In 2007, Colleen was certified as a Family Court mediator and has received numerous accolades, including Best Family Law Attorney by the Charleston City Paper, the Lowcountry Parent Mom’s Choice Award, and the Top 10 Attorney Award from the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys.
Colleen’s experience as a mother and their understanding of redefined family units bring a unique empathy and effectiveness to their legal practice. This personal connection to their work is underscored by a decade-long involvement in local politics, serving on the Charleston County Council from 2005 to 2016, where they focused on quality-of-life issues and earned recognition from numerous community organizations.
Colleen Condon actively advocates for civil rights and has notably contributed to the fight for marriage and parent equality. They served as the Alliance for Full Acceptance president and continue to influence through various leadership roles within civic and legal advocacy groups.
