Chris holds a J.D. from the University of Houston, an M.S. in Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. Chris is an experienced patent litigator who has served as lead counsel in U.S. District Courts nationwide, before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and in high-stakes arbitration and mediation. He also frequently acts as local counsel in the Northern District of Illinois and is a member of its Trial Bar. His intellectual property litigation practice includes Inter Partes Reviews (IPRs) under the America Invents Act, with deep experience in Hatch-Waxman and BPCIA disputes involving Orange Book‑listed pharmaceuticals, biologics, and biosimilars.
