Christopher R. Hunt

Christopher R. Hunt is an attorney whose practice focuses on business law, corporate transactions, tax planning, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, banking, and commercial leasing. He is a director and shareholder who advises privately held and publicly traded companies on entity formation, business succession planning, financing arrangements, acquisitions, sales, contracts, and federal income tax matters. His practice emphasizes practical, business-focused legal solutions that support clients through all stages of growth and long-term planning.

Christopher earned Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Accounting, with honors, from the University of Mount Union. He received his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2006 and later earned a Master of Taxation, with honors, from The University of Akron in 2015. He has been admitted to practice law in Ohio since 2006. His combined legal and tax education allows him to advise clients on complex financial and business matters with a comprehensive approach.

Christopher’s transactional work includes negotiating and drafting asset and stock purchase agreements, merger and consolidation agreements, commercial leases, financing documents, and buy-sell agreements. He also advises on corporate governance, entity selection, succession planning, banking matters, nonprofit organizations, commercial real estate transactions, and tax strategies such as IC-DISCs. He works with both established companies and emerging businesses to help them manage legal risk and support operational growth.

Christopher R. Hunt is a member of the Stark County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. He has been recognized as an Ohio Rising Star, a Twenty Under 40! Award recipient, and a recipient of the Ohio State Bar Foundation’s Community Service Award for Attorneys Under 40.
