Christopher earned a B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude and with honors, from the University of Wyoming in 2001. He went on to receive his J.D. with honors in 2004 and further specialized by obtaining an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Denver in 2006. This strong academic foundation enables him to guide clients through complex tax and estate planning issues with technical precision and practical insight.
Christopher is licensed in Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, and Utah, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Tax Court, and the U.S. District Court for Wyoming. His leadership includes serving as Chair of the USA Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and as a State Chair and Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
Christopher has a long record of community service, including roles as Director of the Wyoming Trust Association, the Wyoming State Bar Foundation, and the Teton County Library Foundation. He has also contributed as Commissioner of Equal Justice in Wyoming and Chair of the Wyoming State Bar Taxation Committee. In addition, he shared his expertise as an Adjunct Professor of Law in Estate Planning at the University of Wyoming College of Law.
