Christopher Hawks

Christopher Hawks founded Hawks & Associates LC in 1995 and advises private clients, businesses, and family institutions on real estate, business law, trust, and transactional matters. His work includes land use and zoning, trust administration, private trust company matters, corporate representation, and strategic risk management. He also serves as trustee for Wyoming domestic asset protection trusts and has acted as outside counsel in significant hospitality, resort, development, and real estate transactions.

Christopher earned a B.S. from the University of Wyoming with a minor in Sociology. He attended his first year of law school at Pepperdine University and received his J.D. from the University of Wyoming. He is admitted in Wyoming and Colorado and practices in Wyoming state and federal courts. His education and long professional involvement in Wyoming support a practice that combines local land use knowledge with business, trust, and real estate work for clients with broader national and international interests.

Christopher has served as counsel in transactions involving Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the Four Seasons Hotel and Resort Jackson Hole, Amangani, and major Wyoming development projects. His experience includes real estate sales, corporate and transactional representation, trust work, land use, and business matters. He has represented clients on sensitive issues requiring quick risk assessment and strategic planning, and he has worked with clients whose legal needs extend across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

Christopher Hawks is a former president of the Wyoming State Bar and was the first Wyoming lawyer invited to become a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He has served on state bar boards and professional responsibility and law examiner bodies. His practice combines long-standing Wyoming experience, transactional judgment, and direct client relationships, with an emphasis on practical solutions for business, real estate, trust, and private client matters.
