Christine Lepera is a nationally recognized entertainment and media litigator with extensive experience representing leading artists, publishers, and companies in high-stakes disputes. As Chair of the Music Litigation Practice Group, she focuses on cases involving copyright infringement, intellectual property, trademark disputes, unfair competition, rights of publicity, and commercial contract issues. Her career has been defined by her ability to secure favorable outcomes for clients navigating complex legal challenges in the entertainment and media industries.

Lepera earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from New York Law School, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Drew University. This strong academic foundation prepared her for a career devoted to intellectual property and entertainment law. Over the years, she has become a trusted advisor and trial lawyer for some of the most prominent names in music and media, guiding clients through disputes in federal courts across the country.

Lepera’s representative work includes defending Post Malone in a copyright ownership dispute, representing Universal Music Group in a high-profile infringement case, and achieving dismissals for artists such as Timbaland and Juice WRLD in claims brought against them. She also successfully obtained a preliminary injunction on behalf of Daryl Hall in litigation involving partnership disputes with John Oates. Her record demonstrates both courtroom skill and a keen ability to resolve matters strategically for her clients.
