Chasey J. Cox is a Partner at Newland & Associates, PLLC, where she has practiced since 2009 and became a partner in 2016. Her practice is concentrated in real estate law, business acquisitions and transitions, commercial financing, corporate formations, and contract drafting. She also assists clients with business succession and estate planning. With experience representing individuals, businesses, and organizations, she has become a trusted advisor in both transactional and planning matters.

Cox earned her J.D., with High Honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law in 2009. During law school, she served as Executive Editor of the UALR Law Review, further developing her legal research and writing skills. She received her B.A. in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006. Licensed to practice in Arkansas, she brings her clients a strong academic background and a proven ability to navigate complex legal issues.

Cox’s practice frequently involves real estate transactions, where she represents clients in acquisitions, developments, and financing arrangements. She has also worked extensively with construction and real estate industry clients, particularly in drafting construction contracts and addressing mechanic’s and materialman’s liens. In addition, she advises businesses on transitions, restructuring, and succession planning, ensuring continuity and stability for family-owned and closely held companies.
