Charles V. Archie is a Raleigh commercial real estate attorney who advises clients on a wide range of real estate transactions. Charles earned his B.A. in History, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He later received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. While in law school, he served as an Articles Editor for the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation. His education supports his work in real estate transactions, financing, title review, and practical legal analysis.
Charles has represented clients in significant commercial real estate matters across several asset classes. His experience includes representing a real estate investor in the $19.5 million acquisition and financing of a multi-tenant retail shopping center and advising a regional medical practice on acquisitions of owned and leased real estate as part of a strategic expansion. He has also handled credit leases, tax-deferred real property exchanges, secured credit facilities, construction loan matters, and lease negotiations involving retail, office, medical office, industrial, and flex space.
