Anthony J. Barwick

Anthony J. Barwick is a partner at Brooks Pierce in Raleigh, North Carolina. He advises clients on complex transactional matters involving corporate transactions, real estate investment and development, banking and asset finance, and hospitality. Barwick regularly assists financial institutions and corporate clients across multiple industries with financings, joint ventures, strategic asset acquisitions, and commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions.

Barwick earned his J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2001, where he served as editor-in-chief of the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation. He also received a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997. His academic background supports his ability to analyze transactions, structure agreements, and guide clients through business and financing issues.

Barwick works with companies of all sizes on commercial transactions involving acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of real estate assets.
