Charles Adler

Charles Adler has built his career on standing up for injured clients and guiding them through difficult legal challenges. From his first courtroom appearance only weeks after becoming a lawyer, he committed himself to protecting people’s rights and developing the skills needed to manage tough litigation.

Charles completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1961 to 1965 before earning his Doctor of Law at the University of Michigan from 1965 to 1968. This academic path gave him the analytical base and discipline that shaped his approach to litigation and problem-solving in complex personal injury matters.

Charles gained early experience in construction litigation, where he handled cases involving commercial, industrial, and shopping-center properties. Trying many of those cases taught him how to organize complex facts, work with expert witnesses, and move cases forward efficiently—skills that later strengthened his work in personal injury matters.

Charles represents clients in a wide range of injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and workers’ compensation. His focused approach has led to strong results, such as recovering policy limits in multiple wrongful death claims. He also uses mediation and arbitration when appropriate, helping clients resolve disputes faster and often at lower cost.

Charles Adler has been elected a Top Attorney of North America, reflecting the respect he has earned in the legal field. He is active in several professional groups, including the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, and Northwest Suburban Bar Association. He has spoken for the Senior Law Academy of the Sheriff of Cook County and has served on legislative committees for multiple bar associations, showing his dedication to improving the legal community.
