Chad Van Horn

Chad Van Horn is the founding partner attorney of Van Horn Law Group, P.A. in South Florida. He leads a strong team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff who help people in financial distress through clear, affordable legal services marked by compassion, understanding, respect, and client care.

Chad earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Robert Morris University, focusing on Entrepreneurship and International Business. He also studied abroad at the American University of Rome. He earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law School in 2009, where he was class speaker.

Chad practices in personal bankruptcy, corporate bankruptcy, student loan debt, consumer law, foreclosure defense, and loan modification. He is admitted to the Florida State Bar, several federal courts in Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court, providing steady care to clients.

Chad is a Certified Bankruptcy Attorney through The American Board of Certification. He has appeared in over 4,000 bankruptcy matters and is known for work in business and real estate transactions, commercial and real estate litigation, loan modifications, landlord-tenant disputes, debt relief, and consumer law cases for clients.

Chad wrote Everything You Need To Know About Bankruptcy in Florida and The Debt Life to help people understand debt options. His service also reaches the community through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County, Mission United, and the OJ McDuffie Foundation, where he supports children and veterans.
