About
Chase A.S. Beguin is a business litigator whose practice focuses on complex business litigation. He also provides counseling and litigation support in matters involving estate planning, land use, and Oregon’s anti-SLAPP statute. His work helps clients address disputes, reduce risk, and protect business interests through careful legal strategy.
Chase graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Health Sciences. He graduated from Elon University School of Law in 2021 with an emphasis on business and corporate law, building a legal foundation focused on business needs and corporate matters.
Chase gained practical experience in business law through Elon’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic. That work gave him exposure to corporate and business matters before entering practice. Since joining the Oregon State Bar in 2022, he has focused on litigation, with special attention to complex business disputes and client counseling.
Chase’s practice includes commercial litigation, transactional drafting, trusts and estate litigation, and general litigation. His litigation background also informs his work on transactional documents. He drafts with a focus on protection, clarity, and service for the specific needs of each client, business matter, or dispute he handles.
Chase was admitted to practice in Oregon in 2022 and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon in 2024. His professional activities include serving as President of the Josephine County Bar in 2023 and as a member of the Uniform Trial Court Rules Committee in 2024.
