Catherine M. Stanton is a nationally recognized workers’ compensation lawyer with more than three decades of experience representing injured workers. She leads complex cases involving workplace injuries, occupational diseases, and long-term disability matters. Known for strong advocacy and a deep understanding of the system, she has built her career on protecting the rights of workers and ensuring they receive fair treatment throughout the legal process.

Catherine earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from St. John’s University and went on to receive her J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary. Her academic achievements provided a strong foundation for the analytical skills, legal judgment, and professional discipline that have defined her successful career in workers’ compensation and related areas of law.

Since beginning her practice in 1990, Catherine has handled thousands of cases and developed extensive experience in complex claims, including those involving serious injuries and occupational illness. Her leadership roles include serving as President of a national organization dedicated to protecting injured workers, Chair of a national workers’ compensation section, and director of a statewide trial lawyer association. She is regularly invited to lecture before unions, bar groups, and medical organizations on topics affecting injured workers.

Her peers have selected her for numerous professional distinctions, and she is also a Fellow of a respected national college for workers’ compensation practitioners.
