Catherine Haynes Fenton is a partner at JKS, LLC in Ellsworth, Maine, where she focuses on estate planning, probate, business law, and real estate. Catherine earned a B.A. in English from Bates College and a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. She is admitted to practice in the State of Maine and before the US District Court for the District of Maine. Her work includes helping clients prepare estate plans, manage probate responsibilities, address business formation and succession concerns, and complete real estate transactions. Catherine Haynes Fenton graduated from the 2022 New England Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. She has presented at Maine State Bar Association continuing legal education programs and adult education sessions in Hancock and Washington counties. Catherine has also served the Hancock County Bar Association, the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar, and local organizations, and she currently serves as board president of Special Children’s Friends in Ellsworth.
