Geoffrey M. Aptt

Geoffrey M. Aptt is the founder of Aptt Law LLC in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. He advises families, business owners, young families, and pre-retirees across Rhode Island and Massachusetts on estate planning, trusts, business succession, and tax-efficient wealth transfer. Aptt earned a B.A. in Psychology, magna cum laude, from Rhode Island College and a J.D., cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2014. In law school, he served as an Assistant Editor of the Roger Williams University Law Review, graduated in the top portion of his class, and received a CALI Award for his performance in contracts. His academic background supports careful legal analysis and practical planning.

Before establishing his focused estate and business planning practice, Aptt handled corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, employment matters, construction law, real estate, and trust litigation.
