About
Catherine B. “Kylee” Read is a Certified Elder Law Attorney who has dedicated her career to helping families navigate complex issues such as estate planning, asset protection, special needs trusts, and long-term care preparation. She is also a member of the Special Needs Alliance, serving both elderly clients and those with unique care needs.
Kylee completed her Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, at Seton Hall University in 1997, earning awards for Political Science and Best Honors Thesis. She then earned her Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2000. While there, she was Editor of Student Works of the Villanova Environmental Law Journal and a member of the Order of the Coif.
Kylee began her legal career in Delaware corporate law, where she practiced for over 13 years before transitioning to elder law in 2017. This change allowed her to focus on issues close to families, including the high costs of long-term care and planning for incapacity. Her background as an adjunct instructor teaching contracts, constitutional law, and business organizations reflects her depth of legal knowledge.
Kylee has been honored with recognition for excellence in trial advocacy, legal writing, and scholarly achievement. These awards highlight her commitment to legal excellence and the high standards she brings to her practice.
