Casey Steadman

Casey Steadman is a dedicated attorney at Rush & Nicholson, P.L.C., focusing on personal injury and workers’ compensation cases across Iowa. From the start of law school, he knew that litigation was the path to help people in tough situations who needed a clear, strong voice. Every client and case is unique, and Casey takes pride in staying in close contact throughout the legal process to find the best possible outcome for each claim.

Casey earned a B.A. in English and a Certificate in Medieval Studies from the University of Iowa in 2005. A commitment to the legal field began with an A.A. in Paralegal Studies from Kirkwood Community College in 2009, followed by a J.D. with Distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law in 2016. While in law school, Casey earned a Certificate in Mediation, competed in Moot Court, and participated in the International Mediation Competition, developing strong skills in negotiation and advocacy.

Since beginning practice in 2016, Casey has worked hard to resolve workers’ compensation and personal injury claims with fairness and care. Recent results include securing workers’ compensation benefits and additional medical treatment for clients in cases involving employers such as Waterloo Community School District and Windstar Lines, Inc. These outcomes show his dedication to holding employers and insurers accountable when workers are hurt on the job.

Casey Steadman remains active in the Iowa State Bar Association and the Linn County Bar Association and continues to support the community as an Eagle Scout and past Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America. Clients appreciate Casey’s commitment to providing clear guidance, reliable communication, and strong representation, helping injured individuals navigate complex challenges and move forward with confidence.
