About
Caroline A. Olsen is an appellate attorney at Zimmerman Booher whose practice is grounded in more than a decade of complex litigation experience. Caroline has participated in more than 100 appeals and delivered oral argument in more than 40 cases. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College in 2009, graduating magna cum laude and earning Phi Beta Kappa recognition. Her academic background supports a practice centered on written advocacy, legal analysis, precedent, and appellate strategy.
Caroline previously served as an Assistant Solicitor General in the Office of the New York Attorney General, where she represented the State of New York in precedent-setting appeals and advised on major trials and investigations. She began her legal career as a law clerk to Judge Albert Diaz of the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and later practiced as a litigation associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
Caroline A. Olsen combines appellate advocacy, government experience, private litigation, and teaching. Caroline regularly teaches legal writing and legal analysis, subjects closely connected to appellate practice.
