Canon Thomas

Canon Thomas is a dedicated litigation attorney at the Mike Morse Law Firm, Michigan’s largest personal injury practice. With bar admissions in both Michigan and California, he works tirelessly to help injured individuals regain their quality of life through effective legal representation. Canon earned his Juris Doctor from Western State College of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, he served as President of the Student Bar Association and Business Editor of the Law Review. He also received multiple Witkin Awards for excellence in Legal Writing and Criminal Trial Practice. His undergraduate degree, a B.A. in General Studies, was completed at the University of Michigan.

Prior to joining the Mike Morse Law Firm, Canon led a solo law practice that supported families in protecting their legal and financial interests. This experience sharpened his ability to deliver client-focused results in complex legal matters. Now, as a member of the firm’s Litigation Department, he uses his knowledge and courtroom skills to advocate for injury victims with precision and care.

Throughout his career, Canon has shown a consistent commitment to community-building and professional development. He co-founded several initiatives, including the Young Black Professionals of Orange County and ReliveTheBAR, fostering mentorship and representation.
