About

Camila Palmer is a Partner at Palmer Polaski, where she brings nearly two decades of immigration law experience to her practice. Her career has focused on defending immigrants’ rights, with a particular emphasis on youth advocacy, deportation defense, and humanitarian relief. She provides strategic counsel to clients navigating the complexities of U.S. immigration law.

Camila earned her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in 2007. During law school, she completed legal externships with Greater Boston Legal Services, the Immigrant Defense Project in New York City, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College, which she completed in 1998.

Before joining Palmer Polaski in 2011, Camila served as an Attorney Advisor with the Denver Immigration Court through the U.S. Attorney General’s Honors Program. She previously worked as a staff attorney at The Door’s Legal Services Center in New York City, representing immigrant youth in immigration and family court proceedings and with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Camila has been deeply engaged in pro bono mentorship and policy advocacy throughout her career. She currently co-chairs the EOIR Liaison Committee for the Colorado Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and mentors volunteer attorneys with the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Towards Justice, a nonprofit focused on protecting low-wage workers.

Camila Palmer’s practice is marked by a steadfast commitment to justice for underserved communities. Her legal expertise, fluency in Spanish, and experience in international refugee work allow her to serve a diverse range of clients with compassion and precision.
