Cameron M. McCord

Cameron M. McCord is a seasoned attorney with a practice focused on Chapter 11 bankruptcy, business law, and commercial litigation. Bringing nearly two decades of experience, she is a trusted leader in navigating complex financial and legal disputes. Since 2005, her work has centered on Chapter 11 bankruptcies, debtor-creditor matters, business restructurings, and fraudulent transfer litigation.

Cameron has served as lead counsel in 75 corporate and 25 individual Chapter 11 bankruptcies and has confirmed reorganization plans in most cases. In 2020, she was appointed a Subchapter V, Chapter 11 trustee in the Northern District of Georgia, demonstrating her expertise in complex bankruptcy matters. Cameron has represented clients in more than 50 adversary proceedings and has significant experience with cross-border insolvencies, having filed 46 affiliated Chapter 15 cases in 2023 and 2024.

Cameron, a 2005 Georgia State University College of Law grad, earned her J.D. with honors and a Public Service Award. She also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Humboldt State University (2001) and a Masters of Fine Arts from Georgia State University (2005), where she graduated magna cum laude.

Cameron is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association. She is a multiple-time Super Lawyers Rising Star, reflecting her commitment to legal excellence.
