Caleb Morey

Caleb Morey pursued his path to law school with determination shaped by early financial challenges. After his father left the family, his mother raised two children on a school nurse’s salary. College savings were limited, so planning ahead and using available support programs became essential to his future.

Caleb graduated from Yorktown High School and enrolled at Ball State University, where he studied economics and history. Through the 21st Century Scholars program, his tuition was fully covered. Additional scholarships and coaching high school basketball helped him manage expenses, allowing him to graduate debt-free in May 2019.

Three months after completing his undergraduate degree, Caleb began law school at Arizona State University. Entering law school without student loan debt gave him the flexibility and confidence to continue his education. He has acknowledged that significant financial obligations could have influenced his decision to pursue a legal career.

Caleb’s experience highlights the importance of access to education and financial support. By combining academic focus with practical work experience, he positioned himself for long-term success. His journey reflects careful planning, resilience, and a commitment to building a stable professional future.

Caleb Morey looks forward to returning to the Midwest, where he and his fiancée plan to establish their careers and start a family. His story demonstrates how preparation, opportunity, and perseverance can create a strong foundation for success in higher education and beyond.
