C. William Turnbow

C. William Turnbow is a dedicated legal professional focused on business law, intellectual property, and real estate matters. His practice is built on delivering sound legal advice with a global outlook, shaped by his international experience and commitment to legal education and service.

William began his academic journey at Western Washington University, where he also studied abroad at Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. There, he gained fluency in Spanish, expanding his cross-cultural skills. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was selected for the San Diego International Law Journal.

Early in his legal career, William served as a law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Federated States of Micronesia. This formative experience helped him develop a broad understanding of international legal systems and enriched his legal perspective with global relevance.

In addition to his law practice, William teaches Advanced Legal Writing and Trademark Law at the University of San Diego School of Law. His work with the University of San Diego Legal Clinics helps deliver no-cost legal support to U.S. military veterans, underscoring his commitment to service through law.

William is admitted to practice in the State Bar of California, the National Bar of the Federated States of Micronesia, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, and the California Supreme Court. His licenses reflect a well-rounded and authoritative legal standing.

Beyond his professional roles, C. William Turnbow, Esq., M.A., is active in his local legal community. He participates annually in the San Diego County Bar Association Basketball League.
