Todd Browning is a founding partner of Browning & Long, PLLC, and a dedicated advocate for clients facing criminal charges, DWI offenses, traffic violations, and family law disputes. Todd earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Charlotte School of Law, showcasing his academic excellence and legal acumen. He also holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Bowling Green State University, graduating cum laude. His academic background reflects a lifelong dedication to the criminal justice field.

Prior to private practice, Todd served as an Assistant District Attorney in Mecklenburg County, where he prosecuted thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases. This experience provided him with invaluable courtroom insight and a deep understanding of both sides of the justice system. He also previously worked for nearly five years with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, gaining hands-on experience in law enforcement operations.

Todd’s approach to law is grounded in accessibility, empathy, and clear communication. He provides aggressive representation when the situation calls for it, but what truly sets him apart is his ability to listen, understand each client’s unique challenges, and offer practical guidance.
