Larry Carbo, III, is a seasoned trial lawyer with a nationwide commercial litigation practice. He has tried more than 30 cases to verdict in state and federal courts and in arbitration. His work centers on employment disputes, trade secret claims, non-competition matters, and complex business conflicts for private companies.
Larry earned a B.S. Management in 1993 from Louisiana State University. He later received his J.D., cum laude, 2001, from Loyola University – New Orleans, where he served as Comment Editor for the Loyola Law Review. His education built a strong foundation in business principles and legal writing.
Larry focuses on employment and commercial disputes involving misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, executive compensation, and shareholder conflicts. He frequently handles injunction hearings where early court decisions shape the outcome of a case. He also represents clients in wage and hour collective actions and arbitration proceedings.
Larry has served as lead counsel in significant Fair Labor Standards Act collective actions in federal courts. He has argued before the Court of Appeals, 2nd Circuit, Court of Appeals, 4th Circuit, Court of Appeals, 5th Circuit, and Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit on complex arbitration and class waiver issues. He also represents clients before the National Labor Relations Board and the National Football League Players Association.
