Byron N. Brown, IV

Byron N. Brown, IV, is a seasoned litigator with more than two decades of experience representing businesses, financial institutions, and individuals in complex legal disputes. He has handled cases across state and federal courts, including matters involving breach of contract, commercial torts, class actions, and product liability.

Byron earned his Bachelor of Accountancy, cum laude, in 2001 and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, in 2004 from the University of Mississippi. During law school, he served on the Student Body Honor Council and received top academic honors in multiple subjects, including Property and Bankruptcy.

Byron’s legal work spans a wide range of industries and issues. He has litigated cases involving unfair trade practices, the federal False Claims Act, Uniform Commercial Code, trade secrets, construction, and real estate disputes. His experience also includes defending and prosecuting claims under confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements.

Byron provides strategic legal guidance to clients outside of the courtroom as well. He regularly advises on contract drafting and negotiation, compliance obligations, business risk, and the safeguarding of proprietary information and customer relationships. He has reviewed and created hundreds of contracts involving post-employment restrictions.
