About

Bruce Minkoff has built a long civil litigation career focused on disputes that affect businesses, property owners, creditors, and individuals. Admitted to practice in New York in 1983, he previously practiced law in New York City and has handled complex matters involving real estate, corporate issues, and commercial conflicts.

Bruce completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York, College at Brockport in 1979, graduating summa cum laude. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law in 1982. This education helped prepare him for detailed legal research, writing, courtroom work, and appellate advocacy.

Bruce focuses his practice on civil litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. His work includes mortgage foreclosures, contract disputes, business ownership disputes, property rights disputes, and creditor representation in bankruptcy proceedings. He uses careful case preparation to help clients understand their legal options and protect their interests.

Bruce has significant appellate experience and has successfully briefed and argued dozens of appeals. His appellate work includes matters before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the First, Second, and Third Judicial Departments of the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court.

Bruce is admitted to practice in several courts and jurisdictions. These include the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Bruce is also a member of the New York State Bar Association, including its Federal & Commercial Litigation section. Through his litigation work, he has helped clients address serious disputes involving contracts, property, business ownership, bankruptcy creditor claims, and appeals that require strong briefing and clear courtroom advocacy.

Bruce Minkoff continues to serve clients through a practice shaped by experience, preparation, and steady legal judgment. His work helps people and businesses respond to difficult disputes, pursue fair results, and move through litigation with informed guidance at both the trial court and appellate court levels.
