Bruce Coulson Tough

Bruce Coulson Tough is a respected Texas attorney known for his decades of leadership and advocacy in law and community service. Bruce earned his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston in 1976 before completing his Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of Houston Law Center in 1980. That same year, he was licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of the State of Texas. His extensive bar admissions include the United States Supreme Court, multiple U.S. District Courts across Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. Tax Court, reflecting his broad legal authority and experience.

Bruce’s legal focus includes business litigation, civil trial litigation, real estate transactions, estate planning, debtor-creditor law, and contract and tort matters. His strategic insight and hands-on advocacy have benefited clients across a variety of complex cases, earning him a reputation for excellence and perseverance in courtrooms and negotiations alike.

Bruce’s professional achievements are matched by his deep civic involvement. He has served in several elected roles, including Chairman of The Woodlands Township, President of The Woodlands Fire Department, and Trustee of the Conroe Independent School District. His community contributions have been recognized through honors such as Hometown Hero (2004), Citizen of the Year (2006), and the 2010 Small Business of the Year Award from the Lone Star College System, Montgomery College.
