About

Britton Ryan Garon founded BRG Legal in York, Maine, with a practice limited to estate planning, elder law, MaineCare planning and applications, and probate administration. She works with clients and families facing decisions about aging, illness, asset protection, and future planning. Her approach emphasizes education, direct communication, and planning that reflects each client’s circumstances and goals. She helps clients understand available legal options so they can make informed choices about estates, care planning, and administration matters.

Britton earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University, a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, and an LL.M. in Elder Law from Stetson University College of Law. She is licensed to practice in Maine and holds an inactive law license in Massachusetts.

Her current practice focuses on planning before a crisis as well as legal support after death through probate administration. She advises clients on elder-law and estate-planning concerns that can involve benefits eligibility, asset preservation, family decision-making, and the orderly transfer of property. Her work is structured around detailed consultations intended to identify goals, concerns, and practical planning priorities.
