Brian R. Hardy

Brian R. Hardy is a shareholder at Marquis Aurbach Chtd, where he represents clients in a wide range of complex legal matters. His diverse practice includes civil litigation, insurance defense, business litigation, corporate formation and licensing, real estate, administrative and regulatory law, constitutional law, and eminent domain. Brian also advises clients on intellectual property, campaign and election law, First Amendment issues, and legislative affairs, delivering strategic solutions for businesses and individuals alike.

Brian earned his B.S. in Political Science from Weber State University in 2003 and his J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2006. He served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Federal District Court Judge James C. Mahan, assisting Judge Mahan during his service as Judge Pro Tempore on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Brian is admitted to practice in Nevada, multiple U.S. Circuit Courts, and the United States Supreme Court.

Throughout his career, Brian has handled numerous jury and bench trials, securing multi-million-dollar judgments for his clients. He has represented local, national, and international clients, filing petitions and appeals before the Nevada and U.S. Supreme Courts. He has also guided clients through licensing for firearms companies, restaurants, gaming, slot route operations, and cannabis establishments, and advised on legislative proposals impacting trade associations.

Beyond the office, Brian is active in community service, having served on boards for Easter Seals Nevada and Roseman University.
