About

Brian Padgett is the owner and managing attorney of Employer Solutions Law, where he represents Washington employers in workplace safety, workers’ compensation, employment law, and apprenticeship matters. He defends employers facing Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act and Division of Occupational Safety and Health citations. He also appears before the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council. His approach combines practical compliance guidance, negotiation, and litigation when agency decisions or claims require a formal challenge.

Brian earned his B.F.A. from Southern Oregon University in 1999. He received his J.D. from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University in 2009. He is licensed to practice in Washington. His professional memberships include the Washington State Bar Association, Associated Builders and Contractors, Associated General Contractors, the National Electrical Contractors Association, and the National Utility Contractors Association.

Brian joined Employer Solutions Law in 2014 after representing injured workers and clients with disability claims. He previously worked at a Washington plaintiff’s firm and at a national disability advocacy firm based in New York City. His earlier work as a stage actor and in construction, shipyard, hospitality, and painting jobs gave him firsthand insight into different workplaces. He became interested in advocacy after coworkers at a New York restaurant elected him as their union shop steward. His varied background helps him understand the safety, operational, and employee-relations concerns employers face.

Brian Padgett is known for resolving complex disputes through creative negotiation while remaining prepared to litigate when needed. He received the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals’ 2024 Safety Professional of the Year award, becoming the first attorney honored by the chapter. He served as the chapter’s president from 2023 through 2025. He also delivers presentations for companies, industry associations, and government agencies on employment and workplace safety issues. His clear communication, accessibility, and commitment to stronger safety cultures support employers seeking both legal protection and lasting improvements.
