Chip Goss

Chip Goss is a senior attorney at Employer Solutions Law, where he advises Washington employers on employment law disputes and workplace safety matters. He joined the firm in 2022 after decades of courtroom practice. He has represented clients in Washington courts since 1992. His work includes employment discrimination, wrongful termination, unpaid wages, breach of contract, and Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act matters. He represents employers in administrative proceedings, trials, and appeals when disputes require formal advocacy.

Chip earned his B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Washington in 1986. He received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Puget Sound School of Law in 1992. He is licensed to practice in Washington and belongs to the Washington State Bar Association. He also earned three American Jurisprudence Awards during his legal education.

Chip brings broad litigation experience to his employer-side practice. He previously handled franchise, banking, investor, construction defect, real property, intellectual property, personal injury, employment, and civil rights disputes. His background helps him examine legal issues from several perspectives and identify practical solutions. He listens closely to client concerns, explains available options, and develops strategies aligned with each employer’s goals. His trial experience also helps him prepare matters for negotiation, agency review, trial, or appeal.

Chip Goss combines tenacity, careful analysis, and creative problem-solving in his representation of Washington employers. He supports legal education as a mock trial coach at Seattle University School of Law. He previously served on the school’s Alumni Board and volunteered with the King County Bar Association’s Neighborhood Clinic program. He also serves as commissioner of the West Seattle Soccer Club. His professional and community involvement reflects his commitment to advocacy, mentorship, and service.
