Brian J. Zeiger

Brian J. Zeiger is a Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Lawyer and the founder of The Zeiger Firm. He represents clients facing serious criminal accusations and civil rights law violations. He handles DUI defense, assault, homicide, sex crimes, juvenile cases, white-collar offenses, theft, probation violations, and post-conviction relief. He also represents individuals in police brutality and other civil rights matters.

Brian earned his B.S. and B.A. in Accounting and Finance from Washington University in St. Louis in 1997. He received his M.B.A. from Temple University in 2000 and earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law that year. He served as Business Editor for the Environmental Law and Technology Journal while attending law school.

Brian represents clients during investigations, negotiations, pretrial proceedings, trials, appeals, and post-conviction matters. He explains available options and keeps clients informed as their cases progress. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, several federal district courts, the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He has also served as a faculty member for trial advocacy and criminal law programs presented by NITA, the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and Law Review CLE.

Brian has held several professional leadership positions throughout his career. He served as Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Criminal Justice Section from 2019 through 2021 after previously serving as Vice-Chair and Council Member. He also served as a Hearing Officer for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania from 2019 through 2022. He is a Master of the Philadelphia Inn of Court and belongs to several criminal defense, civil rights, and bar organizations.
