About

Brian Brisco is a partner in the litigation section of Cantey Hanger LLP, based in the firm’s Fort Worth office. He focuses his legal practice on helping individuals and companies resolve complex legal issues. With a strong background in commercial litigation, he handles cases involving construction, real estate, probate, and health care disputes. Whether the matter is settled through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or trial, Brian aims to find effective solutions tailored to his clients’ needs. He also serves as outside general counsel for local businesses and nonprofit organizations, offering advice on legal matters they may face in their daily operations.

Brian earned his J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 2010, where he served as Senior Executive Editor and Associate Editor of the Law Review. He received the Brian J. Sett Excellence in Appellate Advocacy Award in both 2008–2009 and 2009–2010 and was named to the Dean’s List. He holds an M.A. in Near Eastern Archaeology from the University of Chicago, an M.A. in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in Religion from Baylor University.

Over the years, Brian has assisted clients with a wide range of legal challenges. His experience covers complex commercial conflicts, property disputes, and health care matters, giving him the tools to represent clients with skill and care. He is licensed to practice in Texas and is admitted to all four U.S. District Courts in the state—Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts.

In addition to his practice, Brian Brisco is active in the local legal community. He is a Fellow of the Tarrant County Bar Foundation and currently serves as Chair of the Tarrant County Business Litigation Section (2024–2025). He also previously served as Co-Chair of Tarrant Volunteer Attorney Services (2016–2017).
