Brett B. Thompson, Esq., is the Principal of Thompson Law Group, where his practice emphasizes residential and commercial real estate, refinancing, business and corporate law, creditors’ rights, and civil litigation. Since 2001, he has represented individuals, lenders, and businesses across Virginia with professionalism and dedication, ensuring practical solutions to complex legal matters.

Mr. Thompson earned his Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in 2001 and his Bachelor of Arts from the Virginia Military Institute in 1998, where he attended on a wrestling scholarship. He is admitted to practice in Virginia, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and, more recently, the State of North Carolina. His educational and professional background provide him with the expertise to guide clients in both transactional and litigation contexts.

In his practice, Brett B. Thompson regularly assists clients with real estate closings, refinancing matters, corporate governance, and business transactions. He also handles creditor’s rights cases and represents clients in civil disputes, drawing on years of courtroom and negotiation experience.
