About

Breanne M. Bucher is a Wisconsin attorney whose practice centers on criminal defense, family law, juvenile matters, and OWI defense. Her legal work reflects a commitment to clear advocacy, careful preparation, and strong courtroom presence. She represents individuals facing serious legal challenges and works to protect rights through every stage of the process.

Breanne earned her legal education through a structured academic path that prepared her for complex litigation. She completed her Juris Doctor at Valparaiso University School of Law in 2010. During law school, she developed practical courtroom skills and passed the Wisconsin Bar Examination on her first attempt shortly after graduation.

Breanne began her legal career in private practice, gaining hands-on experience early by handling real cases and working directly with clients. She later expanded her professional role at another private practice, where her growing responsibilities reflected her skill in legal analysis, negotiation, and trial advocacy across multiple areas of law.

Breanne built a strong foundation in criminal defense while participating in the Valparaiso Law Criminal Law Clinic. There, she represented indigent clients charged with misdemeanors and violent felony offenses. She also interned with the Lake County Public Defender’s Office, strengthening her experience defending clients in high-stakes cases.

Breanne later expanded her focus into family and juvenile law after completing multiple related courses and seminars. She routinely accepts Guardian ad Litem and advocate counsel appointments in Waukesha County. Her work includes custody disputes, CHIPS cases, guardianships, adoption matters, and termination of parental rights proceedings.

Breanne has remained active in the legal community through leadership and service. She served as president of her law school’s Phi Alpha Delta chapter, chaired the Juvenile Law Section of the Waukesha County Bar Association, and received the “2013 Rookie of the Year” honor. She has also earned the “Super Lawyers” Rising Star award for eight consecutive years.

Breanne M. Bucher continues to serve clients through diligent representation, courtroom advocacy, and community involvement.
