Brandi Peters is Senior Of Counsel at Flood Law and focuses on employment law, labor matters, civil rights, administrative law, and related litigation. She brings more than two decades of experience advising federal agencies on complex workplace issues. Her practice includes discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, personnel disputes, internal investigations, ethics questions, and matters before agencies such as the EEOC, MSPB, FLRA, and OSC, along with federal trial and appellate courts.
Brandi earned her J.D. from Howard University School of Law. Her legal education provided a foundation for a career centered on public-sector employment, civil rights, administrative procedure, and litigation. Over time, she has developed experience handling matters that require close analysis of agency rules, employment statutes, evidentiary records, workplace investigations, and litigation strategy. This background supports practical counseling for organizations dealing with sensitive personnel disputes, regulatory obligations, and high-stakes employment decisions.
Brandi has independently handled trials and administrative hearings involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, and other workplace conflicts. Her litigation work includes discovery, witness preparation, depositions, motions, briefing, hearings, expert analysis, and trial presentation. Beyond litigation, she advises on workplace policies, crisis response, legislative matters, and changing federal guidance. She also provided legal strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic on workforce requirements affecting nationwide government operations and personnel policies.
Brandi Peters is admitted to the Maryland Bar, New Jersey Bar, and US District Court for the District of Maryland. From Flood Law’s Rockville office, she brings extensive government, labor, employment, civil rights, and administrative experience to workplace matters requiring careful legal judgment. Her practice combines litigation with preventive counseling, policy analysis, and internal investigations, allowing her to address employment disputes from the earliest organizational decisions through agency proceedings, federal court litigation, and appellate review.
