Bonnie Richardson

Bonnie Richardson is a partner at Allegiant Law, LLP in Portland and a trial lawyer with a practice centered on complex litigation. Her work includes legal, accounting, medical, and fiduciary malpractice, estate and trust litigation, business litigation, foster care abuse, nursing home abuse and neglect, and other significant tort matters. She represents clients who have been harmed by professional misconduct, exploitation, abuse, assault, or neglect and brings long-standing trial experience to difficult factual and legal disputes.

Bonnie earned a J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma. She is admitted in Oregon and Washington, the US District Court for the District of Oregon, and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Her education and admissions support a litigation practice that spans state and federal courts and involves professional liability, vulnerable-person claims, complex torts, and estate-related disputes.

Bonnie has practiced as a trial lawyer since 1997 and frequently presents continuing legal education programs for the Oregon State Bar, Multnomah Bar Association, Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, National Business Institute, and other organizations. She has developed a significant professional focus on legal malpractice and ethics.
