Brianna Kalk

Brianna Kalk is counsel at Barg Singer Hoesly PC in Portland. She advises clients on a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, leasing, and financing, and she handles commercial litigation matters. Her work combines transactional counseling with dispute experience, allowing her to assist clients as they structure property deals, negotiate lease terms, arrange financing, and address conflicts that arise from commercial relationships or real estate ownership and operations.

Brianna earned a J.D., cum laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2018. She received an M.A., with merit, in African Studies from the School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London, and a B.A., magna cum laude, in French from Georgetown University. She is admitted in Oregon and Washington. Her academic background and bar admissions support a real estate practice involving transactions, financing, leasing, and litigation across the Pacific Northwest.

Brianna worked for Barg Singer Hoesly as a paralegal and managed firm billing and bookkeeping before joining the firm as an attorney. She previously spent five years working for the Department of Defense, including service in Defense Attaché Offices at US embassies in Burundi and Rwanda. Her current legal work includes real estate acquisitions and sales, commercial leases, financing transactions, local counsel assignments, and property-related disputes, giving her experience with transactions from documentation through conflict resolution.

Brianna Kalk has been promoted to counsel at Barg Singer Hoesly PC and participates in the Georgetown University Alumni Admissions Program as a volunteer.
