Blade M. Allen

Blade M. Allen is a Las Cruces associate trial attorney whose practice focuses on civil litigation, particularly medical malpractice, civil rights, and government liability. He represents government entities, public employees, private companies, and national insurance carriers in constitutional claims, tort liability matters, and high-exposure civil disputes. Since entering practice in 2023, he has handled cases from initial investigation and strategy through discovery, dispositive motions, mediation, trial, and appeal.

Blade earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of New Mexico School of Law and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. During law school, he served as a Manuscript Editor of the Natural Resources Journal. He won the American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section’s 2022 William W. Greenhalgh Student Writing Competition. His engineering education adds technical perspective to litigation involving complex factual issues.

Blade has represented clients in state and federal courts in New Mexico and Texas. He has participated in several jury trials and works on matters requiring strategic preparation before judges and juries. He is admitted in New Mexico, the Federal District Court of New Mexico, the Eastern District of Texas, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
